Ingredient Notices

Just because a product was safe the last time you purchased it doesn’t mean the ingredients have stayed the same! It is very important to read all labels all of the time. The following food manufacturers have recently worked with FARE to provide you with information about changes in their product.

Hostess Brands LLC announces that starting July 16, 2018, some snack cake offerings will now contain eggs.

Amy’s Kitchen is in the process of updating packaging for the Rice Crust Cheese Pizza to remove the "Contains Sunflower Seeds" notice from the front of the package.
Amy’s Kitchen is changing the ricotta- style vegan cheeze used in two products. The new cheeze will continue to be vegan but will contain coconut milk.
Wendy’s restaurants in the US have changed the procedure for applying ketchup during sandwich making. The new procedure introduces egg to select hamburgers.
McDonald’s USA will be offering Donut Sticks in select restaurants located in Peoria, West Peoria, Lincoln and Normal, Illinois during January-March 2018.
The Kellogg Company would like you to know that starting in December 2017, Pringles will change the allergen statement on two flavors of crisps.  The flavors BBQ and Honey Mustard will now contain milk ingredients.
Amy’s Kitchen is changing the vegan cheeze ingredient used in two products. The new ingredient will include sunflower seeds.
Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., the parent of the franchisor of Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants, would like our guests to be aware of a change to our ingredient statement for the Croissant.
McKee Foods, makers of Sunbelt Bakery brand granola cereals, would like to inform FARE constituents of a packaging change.
